Injury Services
Initial Injury Consultation
At your first appointment with STEM Limited, we will assess the source of your pain, provide a clear prognosis, and outline a personalised treatment plan to guide your recovery.

Follow-up appointment
Follow-up sessions focus on delivering the ongoing treatment outlined in your initial consultation, supporting your progress and helping you move steadily towards full recovery.

Specialist areas
Below are some of the most common issues we treat on a daily basis. Our approach combines thorough assessment, evidence-based treatment techniques, and progressive rehabilitation to reduce pain, restore function, and support long-term wellbeing. If you are dealing with a more complex condition or injury, please feel free to get in touch so we can discuss how best to support you.
Shoulder Pain
Rotator cuff injuries often involve strain, tears, or
tendinopathy in one or more of the four muscles
stabilising the shoulder joint. These issues
affect movement, strength, and overhead activity. We
use orthopaedic testing to identify structures
involved, followed by treatments such as
mobilisations, soft tissue therapy, and scapular control
exercises. In chronic cases, shockwave
therapy and dry needling may be used
to restore functional movement.
Pre or Post Surgery
For pre-operative we aim to optimise joint function,
strength, and mobility to support better surgical outcomes.
Post-operative, treatment reduces inflammation,
restores range of motion, and rebuilding strength and
neuromuscular control in line with surgical protocols.

We may be able to help with swelling control, pain
management, gait realignment and getting you back on your feet.

We can help with:
• Joint replacements
• Soft tissue reconstructions
• Fractures and trauma cases
Plantar Fasciitis
Inflammation or degeneration of
the plantar fascia (the thick band of connective tissue
running along the sole of the foot). Caused from incorrect footwear or overuse. It commonly presents
as sharp heel pain in the
morning or after periods of rest,
Treatment includes a combination of radial shockwave
therapy to stimulate tissue regeneration, dry needling to
reduce myofascial tension and manual release to improve mechanics. Ice and stretches can be done at home, alongside a targeted loading program to rebuild tissue resilience.
Repetitive Strain
Repetitive strain injuries develop due to overuse, presenting with inflammation, weakness and restricted movement. We treat these with manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation:
Lower Back Pain: can occur from muscular imbalance, poor posture or restricted joints
Tennis or Golfers Elbow: involve micro-tears to the tendons from repetitive loading
Patella Tendonitis: inflammation or degeneration of the tendons in the kneecap, often in runners or athletes
Tensor Fascia Latae: hip related pain from gluteal inactivity, hip flexor overuse or iliotibial band syndrome.
